Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your only chance to make a positive impact on buyers from a street perspective. The good and bad features that jump out at buyers form their first perception of your home and how you keep up your home's regular maintenance.
Knowing this helps us to decide what plan of action we can use to invite buyers from the street and into your house. If your home's exterior isn't up to par with refreshed paint and colorful greenery we'll need to address those as well. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Can buyers picture themselves hanging out in your living space, relaxing in your master bedroom or getting work done in your home office? We want your house to pleasantly accept buyers and give them a sense of comfort. I'll help you do this by suggesting changes that enhance the features of your house.
I'll help you put out of sight anything that gives the illusion of clutter. Surface areas like tables, desks and counters should be cleared off. Arts and crafts, sentimental items, family photos, and kids' artwork should get moved out of sight. We need to remove the personal details from the place so buyers can picture it as their new place.
I know instantly what a room's best features are and how to highlight them. I'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be removed, rooms that need new paint, carpet needing to be changed, fixtures that need shining, and any other improvement that can quickly be made to positively affect the sale.
Buyers like to see a property that brings them inside. Anything that could be "loud" should get moved out so that your house will have have likability at every showing.

Setting the Stage
In the short time that your house will be on the market, we're doing well if we're engaging the buyer's senses. Shadows are critical and we'll part the curtains, and change light bulbs where needed to welcome the buyer. We'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music to listen to while guests take a walk-through of your home and ensure a pleasant scent flows throughout your house. We'll add cozy-looking blankets, and throw pillows on your sofa and bed. We want buyers to feel like your current house is their future home. |
